The success of the YWCA depends heavily upon the support of the community to continue services to survivors of domestic violence and homeless families. Government funding for these programs provides less than 50% of the budget. The additional funds must be raised through the community and through the generosity of individual donors, businesses, corporations, foundations and community groups.

Whatever way you choose to donate - cash, a vehicle through our vehicle donation program, gently used goods, or volunteering your time - your assistance is greatly appreciated.

vehicle donations
Please donate an auto, boat or RV that you no longer need. Check with a tax professional regarding potential deductions, as new federal tax laws limit the amount you can deduct from donating a vehicle.

• Receive maximum legal tax deductions and possibly a partial cash payment!
• We also accept trucks, planes, motorcycles, real estate, heavy equipment and jewelry.

gently used items
Gently used clothing for women, men and children, as well as household items, can be donated through the YWCA's resale store, My Sister's Closet, located in Hillcrest. Our clients are given store vouchers and are able to shop at the resale store. Proceeds from sales at the store support the YWCA's programs for victims of domestic violence and homelessness.
