About Us
YWCA San Diego County empowers individuals and families to break the cycle of domestic violence and homelessness, and achieve self-sufficiency. Through gender-inclusive crisis interventions, safe shelter and housing, and integrated services, YWCA helps adult and child survivors escape abuse, heal from trauma, gain economic and housing stability, and build a solid foundation for lasting independence. Building upon a historic legacy, YWCA remains committed to empowering women, eliminating racism, and advocating for peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all people.
