Joy for Survivors
Since 2021, BOMA San Diego has generously organized their annual holiday drive to raise awareness of domestic violence and support the adult and child survivors that YWCA San Diego County serves. Donors came together to provide monetary contributions, holiday gifts, and household startup donations. With widespread support from the community, BOMA San Diego has helped make the season brighter for countless survivors healing from trauma and rebuilding their lives.

BOMA San Diego is a professional association committed to advancing the interests of the commercial real estate industry by developing the careers of its members through leadership opportunities, legislative advocacy, education, and networking. Founded in 1963, the San Diego Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA San Diego) is the largest local professional association devoted exclusively to the commercial real estate industry.
BOMA San Diego has over 300 members representing all facets of the industry including property managers, facility managers, owners, asset managers, engineers, and leasing brokers.
Companies providing products and services to office building managers are also represented in BOMA San Diego and include industries in energy, sustainability, law, telecommunications, construction, and maintenance.
BOMA San Diego is considered one of the most active BOMA locals in the United States. The organization sponsors monthly luncheon meetings with leading industry speakers, publishes an online monthly newsletter, conducts educational programs to promote professional competency, hosts two annual awards competitions, and sponsors various charitable and member events, including an annual golf tournament.
The local organization is led by an up to 12-member Board of Directors and supported by 16 committee chairs and active volunteers. BOMA San Diego is also a strong advocate for the commercial real estate industry and conducts a well-organized lobbying program to research and promote its views before legislative officials in San Diego and Sacramento.
